Watch the video above: Black bear seen rescuing crow at zoo.
TORONTO – It may be big bear, but it appears like this bear’s got an even bigger heart.
In a viral video posted by Aleksander Medveš, a black bear in the Budapest Zoo in Hungary was captured by tourists as it rescued a crow.
Of course, there’s is the chance that this bear was thinking about having it for dinner before changing its mind.
However, compassion in non-human animals is something that has been widely debated with some studies suggesting that empathy is not relegated solely to humans.
So was the bear extending a helping paw or did it have a change of appetite? You be the judge.
