CALABOGIE, Ont. – Provincial police say two young girls who went missing Monday night from a campground in eastern Ontario have been found in good health.
The girls, aged nine and 11, disappeared after they played a game of hide and seek at a site near Calabogie, south of Renfrew.
Police had earlier said the girls were aged nine and 10.
One girl is from Barrie, Ont., and the other from near Kingston, Ont.
Const. Janice Sawbridge says the girls were found by a member of the emergency response team on foot, and they have been reunited with their families.
A helicopter and an OPP dog unit were also involved in the search that began Monday night.
