One person hurt in Vancouver car crash

At least one person is believed to have critical injuries following a serious car accident crash in Vancouver last night.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m. they found two cars had collided at Broadway and Yukon.

One of the vehicles suffered serious damage to the driver’s side and firefighters had to use heavy equipment to get the driver out. The driver was taken to hospital.

Vancouver police have not released information on what may have caused the crash.
