REGINA – An act of kindness by a stranger has saved the day for one north Regina family after a special bike was stolen from their yard.
The bike, a three wheeler used by a girl who has Cerebal Palsy, was stolen in the Regent Park neigbourhood.
The upset mother posted the following message on the sell and trade site Kijiji:
I don’t know who you are or why you felt you have the right to enter my yard and steal my daughters bike.
She has Cerebral Palsy and is now limited to her wheel chair. Clearly you could see there is a wheelchair ramp in front of our home.
It’s not like we can just replace this at Walmart you friggin jerk.
I hope Karma comes back on you. You are nothing but a leech on society.
Tuesday morning an anonymous donor contacted the family and said they would pay to replace the tricycle.
Still, if anyone has seen the tricycle around Regina, you can contact the family through their Kijiji ad.
