TORONTO — One of the most famous purrsonalities in the world is making a movie next month in Vancouver.

Cameras are set to roll on Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever from Aug. 16 to Sept. 9.

The Lifetime TV movie is about a cat who is purrpetually overlooked by pet store customers but develops a relationship with a 12-year-old girl.

The titular feline, who became an Internet sensation in September 2012, will play herself. Producers have not yet revealed who will provide her voice.

Before jetting to Vancouver, the Phoenix-based Grumpy Cat (whose real name is Tardar Sauce) will appear in purrson (that’s enough – ed.) at the Indigo store at the Toronto Eaton Centre on Aug. 9 to promote her second book, The Grumpy Guide to Life: Observations by Grumpy Cat.

The two-year-old mixed-breed cat has more than six million “likes” on Facebook.

Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever will directed by Tim Hill, who worked with a slightly more animated cat in 2006’s Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties.

It is scheduled to air on Lifetime during the holiday season.
