TORONTO – A woman was killed after being struck by a Brampton Transit bus in Toronto’s west-end early Monday morning.
The collision happened at the intersection of Humberline Drive and Finch Avenue West near Humber College around 6 a.m.
Toronto EMS say the victim was trapped under the bus and was found without vital signs when emergency crews arrived. She was later pronounced dead at the scene.
City of Toronto officials say the eastbound lanes of Finch are fully blocked and the westbound lanes have been reduced to one lane.
Police are on scene and traffic in the area will remain closed for several hours.
