CHAMBLY – Police are investigating after an argument in a Chambly bar turned into gunfire in a residential sector of Chambly early Sunday morning.
Two cars, one with three men and the other with two, reportedly drove from the bar to the the residential area at the corner of Brassard boulevard and Longueuil street.
At least one shot was fired.
Local police called the Sûreté du Québec SWAT team after one of the men reportedly barricaded himself inside his home.
He was removed without incident.
Four of the men have been arrested and police are currently searching for a fifth.
Police dogs are also on the scene searching for the weapon.
All the men are known to police and charges of attempted murder are expected to be laid.
No injuries have been reported.
