VANCOUVER – A funeral will be held today for a Surrey wife and mother who died after an alleged domestic assault.
Narinder Singh Kalsi was found in her south Surrey home in severe medical distress on July 13.
She was airlifted to hospital but eventually was taken off life support and died last weekend.
Her husband, and former Brookside Temple president, has been charged with second-degree murder.
Baldev Singh Kalsi remains in police custody.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at Delta’s Riverside Funeral Home with a prayer to follow at Brookside Sikh Temple.
