VANCOUVER – Hundreds of thousands are expected to head into downtown Vancouver for three nights of the Honda Celebration of Light fireworks.
There will be three shows in all – Saturday, July 26, Wednesday, July 30, and Saturday, August 2. The show starts at 10 p.m. and lasts about 25 minutes.
Team USA is up first, followed by France and then Japan.

Police say they will be keeping a close eye on all of the crowds and a series of road closures will be in effect.
Access into the West End will be restricted from 7:30 p.m. and into Kits Point starting at 6 p.m.
Spectators are encouraged to take public transit to the event as parking is limited.
Translink is providing extended service for the fireworks crowds to make sure everyone gets home safely.
They have also provided details on the disruptions to buses due to the fireworks:
