YOUNG, Sask. – A passenger had to be airlifted to a Saskatoon hospital after an eight passenger van went off a highway and entered a shallow slough Wednesday afternoon.
Watrous and Saskatoon RCMP responded to the collision just before 11 a.m. in the southbound lane of Highway 2 about 11 kilometres north of Young, Sask.
A male passenger was taken by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital with unknown injuries.
Seven other passengers were taken to a Watrous hospital as a precaution and have since been released.
Mounties continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
