TORONTO – Queen Elizabeth II photobombed a pair of Australian field hockey players at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
The selfie was taken by Jayde Taylor and Brooke Peris and features a smiling Queen in the background.
“Aaaahhh the Queen photo-bombed our selfie,” Taylor wrote on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Taylor’s tweet has been shared close to 6,000 times since it was posted early Thursday morning.
The Queen reportedly watched Australia beat Malaysia 4-0, before England’s match against Wales.
