HALIFAX – Police have arrested a 19-year-old man accused of assaulting a bus driver in Dartmouth earlier this month.
Officers were called to a bus terminal on July 8 at about 9:20 p.m. and found an injured bus driver.
Investigators say the 44-year-old driver got out of his bus to intervene during a fight between two women, but was surrounded by a group of people.
They say he suffered minor injuries when three men allegedly knocked him to the ground and kicked him in the face before fleeing.
Tyere Brushett is charged with assault causing bodily harm and breach of a probation order.
Two other suspects have already been arrested and charged.
