KELOWNA — A man is dead following a bizarre accident near Big White over the weekend.
The single vehicle incident happened on the 201 Forestry Road just below Big White Road.
Officials say the victim, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene after his soft top jeep rolled down a steep embankment.

Emergency personnel the victim, a man in his 60’s, tried to turn his vehicle around on the narrow stretch of forestry road.
They say it appears he had spun his tires just prior to going over the rocky embankment.
He was ejected from the jeep and found about 30 meters away from the edge of the embankment.
The man was with a group of friends when the accident happened. They were out of the vehicle at the time.
The victim’s name has not been released.
