WINNIPEG – Mosquito fogging is now suspended in Winnipeg.
Despite not fogging several areas of the city Saturday night because of cool overnight temperatures, the City of Winnipeg will not be fogging for mosquitoes Sunday night.

The average city-wide trap count Sunday was nine, and with low mosquito activity, fogging is ineffective, city officials said.
Fogging will resume when trap counts are at least 100 in one or more quadrants of the city.
Before fogging again the city will give eight hours’ notice.
