RCMP are investigating a head on collision on the Trans-Canada highway, near landmark Manitoba. Both drivers are now facing impaired driving charges.
At 10 o-clock last night officers in St Pierre – Jolys were conducting traffic enforcement when a head on collision between two pick ups. One heading north, the other south.
Two of the four occupants in the southbound truck were taking to hospital for assessment while the other two occupants were treated and released at the scene.
The driver in the northbound pick up was treated and released at the scene. A 15-year-old was transferred to a winnipeg hospital with non life threatening injuries. The 40 year old and 24 year old drivers are each facing impaired driving charges. The investigation continues.
