Police investigating a home invasion in Regina

The 61-year-old woman said she heard a noise upstairs in her home on the 1200 block of Athol Street and found a strange man in her house.

REGINA – A woman is reporting a frightening home invasion that happened in Regina on Wednesday night.

The 61-year-old woman said she heard a noise upstairs in her home on the 1200 block of Athol Street and found a strange man in her house.

The suspect broke down the door and used one of her kitchen knives to threaten her and demand money.

The suspect got away with a small amount of money.

The man is described as aboriginal, 20-25 years old, about 5’8”, with a thin build and wearing a black sweatshirt.
