TORONTO – Ladies and gentlemen, meet Chris Kohrs — San Francisco’s hottest cop.
Dubbed the “Hot Cop of Castro,” Kohrs is making hearts go pitter-patter all thanks to one photo and the Internet.
Kohrs was patrolling a construction site in the neighbourhood popular with the city’s gay community.
“I came out of my apartment, I just live up the street, and Chris was on his motorcycle and I kind of surreptitiously tried to take a few shots of him and he caught me and waved,” Mark Abramson told CBS San Francisco.
Abramson’s photo was shared on social media hundreds of times. One fan of the hunky officer created a Facebook page in honour of Kohrs. The page has over 23,000 “likes” as of Friday morning.
Kohrs, a six-year police force veteran, told CBS: “This is all new to me. I mean, I am not used to this but you know I am having fun with it so, you know, I will just go with it for now.”
Last month, a mug shot of a California man went viral after the police department posted the photo on their Facebook page.
Jeremy Meeks, also known as “hot felon,” was reportedly offered a modelling contract thanks to his sexy booking photo.
So, what does the hot cop think about Meeks?
“I think he’s a great looking guy, but I think he would look a lot better outside of the colour orange,” Kohrs said.
And for those who are wondering, Kohrs is single and straight.
