REGINA – A Calgary-based company has pleaded guilty and been fined 14-thousand dollars for a workplace violation in Saskatchewan.
Sulzer Chemtech Canada Incorporated entered the plea in Estevan provincial court last month to one count under occupational health and safety legislation.

The charge was laid after a company employee plunged more than four metres through a hole in the floor while working at a carbon-capture project near Estevan in January of last year.
One other charge against the company was stayed.
