Marc Emery getting released from prison

The prison nightmare for Canada’s self-proclaimed “Prince of Pot” is coming to an end.

Marc Emery was extradited to Seattle in May 2010 after he pleaded guilty to selling marijuana seeds to Amercian customers.

He was sentenced to five years in prison.

Emery is now being released from prison and will be moved to a private detention facility in Louisiana.

Marc’s wife, Jodie, shared a message on Twitter Thursday morning:

He expects to be back on Canadian soil between August 10 and August 25. Emery will arrive back in Canada via Windsor.
