UPDATE: Suspect turns himself in for suspicious death

EDMONTON – A man turned himself into police Monday in connection with a suspicious death investigation that began earlier this month.

Aaron Mullins, 28, turned himself in to homicide detectives at the downtown headquarters, where he was charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon.

Forty-one-year-old Kerry McGill’s body was discovered around 7 p.m. Tuesday July 8 at a home in the area of 105 Street and 99 Avenue.

An autopsy was performed, however, the results were inconclusive and the cause of death is still pending toxicology results.
