Police connect victim to shooting in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Police are investigating after a man was shot on Sunday in the 300-block of Avenue S South.

Officers were called after someone heard gunshots around 5:30 p.m.

As police arrived, a man had just walked into a nearby hospital with wounds believed to be from a firearm.

After speaking with the 27-year-old victim, it was determined that he had been shot in the 300-block of Avenue S South.

The victim has non-life threatening injuries.
