REGINA – Saskatchewan’s Opposition leader says he’ll be keeping a close eye on the government’s response to the recent flooding.
Cam Broten toured flood-affected areas today, and he says he wants to make sure provincial relief programs are handled properly.
He says he saw a lot of neighbours helping neighbours, and he says people are ripping out carpets and drywall needs to be replaced.
Premier Brad Wall announced yesterday the province would likely have to dip into its rainy day fund.
