TORONTO – Service on the Barrie GO Transit line has resumed after a dump truck collided with a train near Keele and Teston in Vaughan Friday morning.
Police say the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and no one on the train was hurt.
The accident happened just south of the King City GO Station. As a result, service along the Barrie Line was temporarily suspended and the commute this morning was significantly delayed.
Shuttle buses were in operation to move passengers from and to stations.
GO Transit officials say repair personnel were called to assess the scene and the scene is now cleared.

- Passengers may use their GO/PRESTO fare media at a staffed TTC entrance at Yorkdale, Sheppard, Finch and Downsview
- GO Bus service is also provided for passengers travelling back northbound.
