A woman remains in critical condition in hospital today after a horrific crash on Monday morning at a Surrey bus stop.
She had to have both her legs amputated as her injuries were so severe.
Police say the woman, along with another woman, were waiting at a bus stop when a GMC van travelling southbound was hit by a Tacoma pick-up truck going westbound on 88 Avenue. The impact of the collision sent the truck into the bus stop where the two women were waiting.
The other woman, who has also not been identified, only suffered minor injuries.
The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and are cooperating with police.
