SASKATOON – Police are continuing to investigate a fight last month in Saskatoon after a man who was injured during the altercation died.
The fight between two men happened at a residence in the 3000-block of 20th Street West just before 6 a.m. on June 18.
An injured 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with what police said appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. He passed away on Wednesday.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
A 19-year-old man was taken into custody at the time of the fight and charged with aggravated assault.
Police say the fight was the result of a domestic incident and the victim and accused were known to each other.
No names have been released.
