SASKATOON – A man suffered minor injuries and a pair of worn out shoes after being dragged by a vehicle for several blocks following an altercation in a Saskatoon neighbourhood Tuesday afternoon.
Police say two male youths were driving through the area of Eastlake and Hilliard Street East when someone in the vehicle allegedly yelled insults at a woman on the street.
The man with her got into his own vehicle and chased the pair. After a short distance, both vehicles stopped and the man approached the vehicle.
He then got his arm in the vehicle and at that point, the 16-year-old driver took off, dragging the man for two to three blocks before he was able to free himself.
The driver took off but was caught a short time later and taken into custody.
Police continue to investigate and say charges are pending.
