SASKATOON – It’s property tax deadline day in Saskatoon.
June 30 is the last day property taxes can be paid without incurring a penalty.
Payments can be made in person up to 5 p.m. Monday at city hall. Property owners can also be made at most financial institutions and banks.
There is also an option to make the payment in one of two drop boxes located at city hall. One is located outside the main entrance and the other is in the main foyer. Payments at the drop boxes can only be made by cheque.
Those who have mailed their payment can check their account balance by calling the automated voice response line at 1-800-667-9944, or 306-975-2400 to determine if their payment has been received.
Payments received after June 30 will be penalized at a rate of 1.25 per cent monthly.
