Okanagan Forecast: Showers for Friday

A system pushing into the BC coast Friday will bring some moisture into the Southern Interior as well.

Tomorrow you can expect showers, especially in the morning hours but some of the showers will ease in the afternoon for the central and southern areas of the valley.

Heading into the weekend, we will gradually dry out and warm up, but it will be a slow process.

A chance of showers will linger around on Saturday and Sunday, with the biggest potential for precipitation in the Northern regions (Columbia, Shuswap, North Okanagan) and for areas near the mountains.

The great news is that the outlook for Monday and Tuesday is a warming trend, and Canada Day will be sunny and summer-like!
