Okanagan Forecast: Warm Thursday, Cooler Friday

Weather Update Wednesday June 25th 2014 4pm

Good afternoon! A warm day today with temps into the mid to upper 20’s around the BC Southern Interior.

Tomorrow temperatures will be similar for most areas.

The whole province is still under a broad upper trough so although most areas will see some sun tomorrow, there will also be variable cloud in the mix, and convective showers are possible in the afternoon.

A weak system is tracking across Oregon and Washington State tomorrow and it will skim the extreme Southern parts of the BC Interior (ie. Boundary region, Osoyoos) so more high cloud will move into these areas, but no significant precip is expected.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Looking ahead to Friday – the next frontal system pushes onshore bringing showers to the Southern Interior with cooler temps.

Thursday’s High: 23 to 28C
