TORONTO – A quick-thinking Texas police officer pulled a woman off a set of tracks moments before a train went speeding past.
A Richmond police officer responded to a call of a woman laying on the tracks at a crossing early Sunday morning.
Dashcam footage shows officer Ramon Morales jumping out of his patrol car and running the towards the crossing as the flashing barricades began to lower.
Morales can be seen grabbing the crying woman as the approaching train’s whistle can be heard in the background.
The officer dragged the woman several feet to safety.
The woman was uninjured and was reportedly taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation
