SASKATOON – Saskatoon RCMP have launched a murder investigation after a woman died Monday evening south of the city.
Mounties say they were alerted by Saskatoon police that a woman had suffered a neck injury at the intersection of Clarence Avenue and Victor Road by Casa Rio Estates.

She was pronounced dead at Royal University Hospital. Her name has not been released.
One woman has been taken into custody but no charges have been laid.
Police have released no other details at this time.
