HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police say four students were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries Monday after the school bus they were travelling on stopped abruptly to avoid a collision.
Police say they are still investigating what happened on the Bedford Highway past Larry Uteck Boulevard shortly after 2:30 p.m.
They say the bus had just left Ecole Beaubassin and was carrying about 40 students.
Police says the injured students were taken to the IWK Health Centre by Emergency Health Services for treatment of minor injuries.
