REGINA – A weather radar station in Saskatchewan is down for repairs.

The National Radar Program says it’s been aware of the problem with its Bethune station since Thursday night.

Program spokesman Gaetan Deaudelin says the shutdown is the result of wear and tear on the system.

Deaudelin says repairs will be made as soon as possible.

The Bethune station was hit by similar problems in 2011 and 2012.
