REGINA – Investigators say alcohol was a factor in a fiery, two-vehicle crash near Ralph, SK Thursday night that sent one person to hospital.
RCMP were called to Highway 39 where an SUV had collided with a semi after crossing over the centre line. The semi then veered into the ditch and burst into flames.
The 56-year-old driver of the semi and his 52-year-old passenger escaped without serious injury.
The 29-year-old female driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital in Weyburn.
The driver of the SUV was found to be impaired by alcohol and charges are pending.
