SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit has charged 11 people in the province after a Canada-wide child pornography investigation.
“Operation Snapshot III”, a multi-agency investigation which ran from Feb. 1 to May 27, focused on individuals utilizing file sharing networks where child sexual abuse media was disseminated.
The investigation also focussed on child exploitation networks.

The Saskatchewan ICE unit conducted 15 investigations, resulting in 12 search warrants being executed throughout the province.
Numerous computers and media devices were seized and officials said thousands of images and video will be examined for court purposes.
Police arrested 11 people and said three other cases will be followed up in the next couple of weeks.
