Police are warning parents about the dangers of open windows after a young child tumbled from a second-storey window in Surrey today.
The incident happened just after 8 a.m. at a home in the 14900-block of 58A Avenue.

The 3-year-old boy suffered a bruised eye and some swelling.
Fortunately, none of his injuries are life-threatening.
He was transported by ambulance to Royal Columbian Hospital.
Police say the incident was an “unfortunate accident.”
