KELOWNA, B.C. – Tech startups from across Canada are in Kelowna to pitch their products to the big guns of the industry.
Metabridge is the 6th annual retreat to generate economic activity and match up businesses with investors.
Representatives from Google Ventures, Twitter, Dropbox, Intel Capital, Adobe and Zynga are in attendance.
“This event, Metabridge, is a major success for the Okanagan and British Columbia because we’re bringing together talented young companies with serious investors who are coming from all over the continent to look at companies for further investment to build them out into big, great companies,” says Andrew Wilkinson, Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services.
The two day meetings, organized by Accelerate Okanagan, offer focused and interactive events as well as opportunity for investment and mentorship.
