SASKATOON – A man is facing a number of charges after a woman was allegedly struck with a shotgun at a residence in Saskatoon’s Meadowgreen neighbourhood Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the residence in the 500-block of Avenue X South where they found the woman suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
Two suspects, a man and a woman, had fled on foot and were located by officers at the intersection of 18th Street West and Avenue V.
The 29-year-old man had a sawed-off shotgun and prescription narcotics and is now facing 13 firearm and drug related charges.
Charges are pending against the 30-year-old woman.
