EDMONTON – The Red Deer RCMP is searching for two men believed to have attempted to kidnap a teenage girl.

It happened on June 4 around 5 p.m. as the 16-year-old girl was walking along Glendale Blvd.

A dark-coloured Chevrolet Avalanche passed her before circling back.

Officers say two men believed to be in their mid-20’s offered the girl a ride.

When she refused, the man in the passenger seat allegedly got out and tried to force her into the truck.

The RCMP says the teen kicked him in the groin and ran away. The suspects then drove off.

Both are described as Caucasian males in their mid-20’s with slight tans.
