TORONTO – A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Scarborough.
Police say the victim – a man believed to be in his 40s – was stabbed several times inside a home near the Morningside and Lawrence area Sunday evening and suffered life-threatening injuries.
They say he underwent surgery overnight and is currently listed in stable condition.
The 35-year-old suspect was arrested this morning and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
He has a bail hearing set for 10 this morning.
