Police charge 27-year-old following homicide in Ashcroft
VANCOUVER – A 27-year-old Ashcroft man is now facing murder charges after a body was found in a home Monday morning.
RCMP responded to a disturbance at a home in the 600-block of Cedar Street at about 9:30 a.m. and discovered the body.
Shane Takeshi Gyoba has been taken into custody, charged with second degree murder.
He is scheduled to appear in Kamloops Provincial Court Tuesday afternoon.
