WINNIPEG – The City of Winnipeg is offering some early opportunities to cool off outdoors.
Officials announced Friday that spray pads will begin operating two days earlier than scheduled, to take advantage of the upcoming weekend,
The following spray pads will begin operating at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, May 31:
Central Park
St. Norbert Community Centre
Lindenwoods Community Centre
St. James Assiniboia Centennial Pool
Provencher Park
Transcona Centennial Pool
River East (Peguis Trail Health & Fitness Centre)
River Heights Community Centre
Shaughnessy Park
Westdale Community Centre
Vimy Ridge Memorial Park
Temperatures up to 25 degrees are expected.
The city says the Fort Rouge Park spray pad opening is delayed due to required mechanical repairs.
