Vernon – RCMP in the North Okanagan are investigating a rash of possible arsons that occurred in the Vernon area this month. There were two more blazes over the weekend that may be suspicious. A motor home parked off of 25th Avenue burned down almost to its wheels Saturday evening. Vernon Fire Rescue Services was out Monday investigating the cause of that fire. Fire officials haven’t ruled out other possible causes yet but the RCMP officer that is looking into all the suspicious fires is also investigating the motor home blaze.
At around 12:30 Sunday morning emergency crews were called to Vernon KIA. One of their cars parked on Pleasant Valley Rd. had gone up in flames. That fire also part of the RCMP investigation.
