Men bear sprayed by intruders in Saskatoon home invasion

Saskatoon police say four men were sprayed by intruders with bear mace during a home invasion on Sunday.

SASKATOON – Saskatoon police say four men were sprayed by intruders with bear mace during a home invasion on Sunday.

Around 1 a.m., police were called to a report of five men entering a home in the 2200-block of 20th St West.

The five suspects used bear spray on the four occupants of the home.

The victims, all in their late 30s or 40s, did not require medical treatment.

Police say the motive for the incident is unknown.

Suspects were described as being of First Nation descent and no further information was available.
