Charges laid in connection with bus fight in Langley

Charges have now been laid in a fight between two women on a Langley bus.

The incident began Tuesday morning when the suspect began arguing with a bus driver after she didn’t pay her fare. When a person asked her to stop swearing at the officer, she threatened to kill her and the complainant’s three children.

She then threw a drink at the youngest child, which instigated a brawl.

Video of the profane brawl was first published on Vancity Buzz, and shows the woman whose children were threatened attacking the woman facing charges.

After the two left the bus, the suspect allegedly followed the woman towards a local mall, knocking over her four-year-old daughter and kicking her two-year-old daughter in the back.

When police were notified of the incident, a Surrey RCMP officer quickly recognized the description of the suspect and went to her residence. She was arrested just 20 minutes after the entire scene began.
