TORONTO – A male driver has been charged with impaired driving after his vehicle crashed into a pole overnight.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. on Lynedock Crescent near York Mills and the DVP.

The vehicle caught fire on impact but the driver managed to get out safely and contacted police.
Fire crews were called to extinguish the blaze, however the driver was later charged with impaired driving.
