Car smashes through door of Calgary medical clinic

CALGARY- A distracted driver ended up driving her car through the front door and window of the Ranchlands Medical Centre in the city’s northwest Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the woman, who was bringing a baby to the clinic, was about to park when she became distracted by the baby’s crying. She hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.

The woman and the baby weren’t hurt, but an employee at the clinic was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
