TORONTO – Last week it was the flying car. This week, it’s a jetpack.
The days of using wheels to get around– or even your own two feet — is so passé.
At the “Future Is Now” conference in Washington, D.C., the dream of using a jetpack to get around became a reality. From a second-floor mezzanine, a man showing extreme confidence in what can only be considered a rather uncertain mode of transportation, jetted around the cavernous Ronald Reagan Building at the city’s International Trade Center.
The two-day conference, hosted by Smithsonian Magazine, took place from May 16 to 18.
