Man slashed at house party in N.E. Calgary

Calgary police were called to a home on Martinbrook Place N.E. after a man was found on the front lawn, bleeding from the head.

Police are investigating after a man was slashed at a house party Saturday morning in the northeast neighbourhood of Martindale.

Officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Martinbrook Place at about 9:30 a.m. after a man was spotted on the front lawn, bleeding from the head.

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was transported to hospital in stable condition.

Police say there were children in the home at the time and that social services is now involved.

Police are still searching for the man’s attacker.
