NDP launch new party website today as leaders campaign in southwestern Ont.

TORONTO – The New Democrats launch a new party website today which was built with the help of Los Angeles-based software developer NationBuilder.

The website is integrated with the party’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts and will help the party track supporters, donors and volunteers.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath campaigns today in Toronto and Sarnia.

Progressive conservative Leader Tim Hudak will take his campaign to London, Breslau and Guelph, while Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne is in Walkerton and Waterloo.

The Tories offered more details of their plans Wednesday, saying how they’d eliminate the $12.5 billion deficit within two years and impose a wage freeze on public sector workers to help save $2 billion a year.

Hudak’s plan to cut 100,000 public sector jobs in the first term of a Conservative government drew more attacks from his opponents. Wynne compared Hudak to Mike Harris, saying Hudak wanted to go the former premier “one better” by doubling the number of job cuts Harris made.
